10th Annual Peace Day Hawaii Celebration: Journey for Peace with Aloha

From Peace Day Hawaii:

In 2007, Hawaiʻi Act 23, declared: “September 21st of each year shall be known and recognized as ‘Peace Day’ to promote peace programs, improve international relations, and increase educational awareness of peace.”

Hawaiʻi thus became the first state in the United States to join more than 200 countries in celebrating the United Nations International Day of Peace and Non-Violence that was established by a unanimous UN resolution in 1981.
