Mediation Center of the Pacific will be holding the following events: Elder Mediation and Family Conference Training on April 2 and 9, 2016, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on both days, at the Kukui Center, 245 N. Kukui Street; Civil Rights Mediation Training in conjunction with the Hawaii Civil Rights Commission (HCRC) on Thursday May 12th, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Kukui Center, 245 N. Kukui Street. The HCRC staff will review the applicable laws and criteria that make a case appropriate for the HCRC, and how appropriate cases are referred to MCP for mediation. MCP staff will review important points relating to the mediation of HCRC referred cases; Under the Mediation Moon Fundraiser on Saturday, May 7, 2016, 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm at the Hawaii Convention Center. This Accelerated Divorce Mediation Training is specifically designed for attendees who are already familiar with family law and the divorce process. Advanced Mediation Training, September 29-30 and October 1, at the Kukui Center, 245 N. Kukui Street.
