Diffuse Conflict With Compassionate Communication – FREE Interactive Talk with Lisa Jacobs – October 17, 2014

Presentation Objectives In practicing the 4-step model of Compassionate Communication, you will learn how to: Break patterns of thinking that lead to arguments Transform conflict into mutually-satisfying outcomes Move beyond power struggles to cooperation and trust About Lisa Jacobs Lisa Jacobs is an attorney who has been licensed to practice law in Hawaii for the past 20 years. She found her calling as a Collaborative Attorney and Mediator and opened her own firm, called Better Way Divorce, also known as Pono Divorce, where she devotes 100 percent of her practice using non-adversarial approaches to assist couples to arrive at full and sustainable agreements. She achieves this by addressing the emotional and financial needs of the entire family, rather than pitting parties against one another, and engages with collaborative professionals with specialties in counseling and financial planning to reach the best outcomes for the entire family. Lisa also serves as a Mediator for the Mediation Center of the Pacific and on the Board of Directors of the Hawaii Chapter of the Association for Conflict Resolution.
