October 20, 2016 Proclaimed Conflict Resolution Day 2016

Governor Ige, Mayor Caldwell, and the Honolulu City Council proclaimed October 20, 2016 as CONFLICT RESOLUTION DAY 2016

 They encouraged all residents to learn more about conflict resolution practices to promote peaceful and creative resolutions to disputes

They also thanked the Association for Conflict Resolution-Hawai’i Chapter, the Hawai’i State Judiciary Center for Alternative Conflict Resolution, the Matsunaga Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution, the Hawai’i State Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, the Mediation Center of the Pacific, Ku’ikahi Mediation Center, Maui Mediation Services, Kaua’i Economic Opportunity, Inc. Mediation Program, and West Hawai’i Mediation Center for promoting peaceful means of resolving differences
