The ACR Elder and Family Section 2014 Retreat will be held October 10-11, 2014 in Cincinnati, Ohio in conjunction with ACR’s Annual Conference. The purpose of the Retreat is to provide advance practitioners in areas dealing with issues that affect elders and family an opportunity to connect and learn in a relaxing environment. The event organizers are currently looking for proposals for a 90 minute session, which meet the following criteria: Engage Experienced Mediators Focus in-depth discussion Provide opportunities for creativity Inspire new approaches Allow for a creative exploration of self Crosses both elder and family issues Intergenerational issues Each proposal should contain the following: Title 75 word description which can be used in the program, if selected Outline What will be the take away for participants? Presenter(s) contact information including name, address, phone and email address A biography demonstrating expertise in the area of the proposal The names and contact information for two references Deadline for submission is February 17, 2014.
